Where We Are

Nick Hashimoto

President, Registered Nurse

Hi, I’m Nick Hashimoto, the founder of Hospice 365 — and for me, hospice care isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling. As a father of two amazing kids I’ve learned that life is about love, connection, and making every day count. That belief is at the heart of everything we do at Hospice 365.I grew up playing sports, with soccer and golf being my two passions, and those early experiences taught me the value of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance — qualities that continue to shape how I lead and care for others today.

When I’m not working, I enjoy vacationing with my kids, taking every opportunity to create memories and appreciate the simple joys of life.I’ve been a nurse for over a decade, serving in hospitals, home health, visiting physician services, and hospice care. Through those experiences, I discovered that my greatest passion lies in helping people find comfort, peace, and dignity during one of life’s most meaningful journeys.

My vow to patients…

As the president of this company I will uphold the integrity, compassion, and mission that guide everything we do. My commitment is not only to our patients, but also to the employees who serve them. I strive to create an environment where our team feels valued, supported, and empowered, because when caregivers thrive, they are able to give the very best of themselves to you or your loved one.

When I step into the role of RN case manager, you become my priority. I will show up with positivity, patience, and genuine care. My promise is to walk beside you with honesty and consistency, to prepare you and your family for what lies ahead, and to ensure you never feel alone in the process.

What makes my care special is the intention behind every action—I listen deeply, I follow through, and I honor your wishes. It is my privilege to be a steady, compassionate presence and a source of comfort and clarity during one of life’s most sacred transitions. Supporting you at the end of life is not just my responsibility; it is my honor.

Sara Rivera

Office Manager

As the Office Manager at Hospice 365, I have had the privilege of being part of our dedicated team since the company’s inception in 2023. My journey in healthcare began at the age of 16 when I worked in a hospital laboratory, where I discovered my passion for caring for others. Over the past decade, I have gained invaluable experience in the hospice field, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later transitioning to the role of Patient Care Secretary. This diverse background has deepened my understanding of hospice care and enriched my commitment to our mission. What I love most about my role is the unwavering commitment to excellence that our team embodies. Together, we strive to provide compassionate care to those who need it most. Outside of work, I find joy in gardening and sewing, which allow me to express my creativity and connect with nature.

Tawny Evans

Director of Nursing, RN

With over a decade of dedicated service in healthcare, Tawny began her career as a med tech in a hospital setting, where she honed her clinical expertise and deepened her commitment to compassionate patient care. Eleven years ago, she transitioned into hospice nursing—a calling she describes with profound conviction: “I did not choose hospice; hospice chose me.”

As a passionate hospice nurse, Tawny is driven by a heartfelt mission to educate her community about the true essence of hospice care: dignity, comfort, and unwavering support during life’s most tender moments. Her work is not just a profession but a vocation that fills her heart and fuels her purpose.

Outside of her calling, she cherishes time with her family, hitting the trails for muddying adventures with her husband, and embracing the open road through RVing and camping. Grounded in love—for her patients, her community, and her loved ones— Tawny continues to shine as a beacon of empathy, strength, and authenticity in hospice care.

Brittney Nunley

Registered Nurse

Brittney earned her first bachelor’s degree in Allied Health from Texas A&M University before going on to graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, she completed her nurse residency at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, where she learned to navigate the challenges of nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since then, Brittney has gained experience in a variety of nursing specialties, including outpatient gastroenterology and fertility care. In 2024, she discovered her true calling in hospice nursing when she joined Hospice 365.

Brittney approaches each patient with compassion and respect, caring for them as if they were her own family. She is deeply dedicated tt providing comfort, dignity, and peace to patients and their loved ones during life’s most meaningful moments.

Krysti Kraeter

Registered Nurse

Hi! My name is Krysti and I am a home hospice nurse. I have been a registered nurse since 2010 with my background being ICU, critical care and case management. I believe that this has given me the ability to become the hospice nurse that I am today. I have been working with hospice patients for the past 4 years now and I truly believe that this is my life’s calling. Hospice nursing requires a special type of care and communication. I have learned throughout the years that each family and patient needs highly individualized care, and I love being able to give that to patients and their families in their time of need. Many people have often asked if my job is depressing and sad, and sometimes it is, but overall I feel a great sense of joy and a deep feeling of gratitude that I am able to be with a patient and their family at the end of their life. It is an honor to be a part of such a sacred time. I am able to then not look at this as a job, but rather a way of life, and that in turn allows me to continue to give to my own children and other family members after a long shift. My patients will often hear quite a bit about my adorable, funny, and mischievous children, which lets us both reflect on joys of childhood both past and present. I am a highly involved single parent and love seeing my children grow in their many different activities. If you want to know more about me, please feel free to ask.

Sheena Washington

CNA Manager

I am a dedicated and compassionate CNA with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Currently, I serve as the CNA Supervisor at Hospice 365, where I lead a team of compassionate aides and ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. My journey in healthcare has been incredibly fulfilling, and I genuinely love what I do.

I’ve had the unique opportunity to work with the same owner, Nick, across three different roles, which speaks to the strong professional bond and trust we’ve built over the years. My commitment to providing empathetic and top-notch care is at the core of everything I do.

Lee Fackler

Registered Nurse

I’m a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing, with years of experience in ICU/CCU care. My transition to hospice care came after my mother received such incredible support from the team at Hospice 365, and it inspired me to give back in a similar way. I truly enjoy getting to know patients and their families, offering comfort and guidance, and helping them understand the benefits of hospice care. Building relationships with the wonderful staff at assisted living and memory care facilities is also something I deeply value. My mission is to provide compassionate care and a sense of peace during life’s most challenging moments.

Adrian Bryant

CNA

My role goes beyond physical care; it encompasses emotional support as well. Patients often experience fear and anxiety, especially when facing health issues or life transitions.

Being able to offer reassurance and companionship can make all the difference in their experience.

As professionals, we know that our daily routines can significantly impact our performance. Every successful day starts with intentional preparation, and Prayer.

For me, that means embracing a few essential practices that set the tone foreverything that follows.

GiGi Rollins

CNA

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for others is more than a job—it’s something that truly comes from the heart. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, dependable care and helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and respected every step of the way.

Along with my experience in patient care, I am trained in phlebotomy and EKGs, and I will be starting nursing school in the spring as I continue pursuing my passion for healthcare. I believe that kindness, trust, and genuine connection are just as important as clinical skills.

My goal is always to treat every patient like family, offering not only quality care but also comfort, reassurance, and support. I take pride in being loyal, trustworthy, and attentive to the needs of both my patients and their loved ones, helping create peace of mind during every stage of care.

Theresa Stringer

Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor with a background rooted in service, compassion, and clinical expertise. In hospice care, I provide emotional support, advocacy, education, and resources to patients and families navigating one of life’s most challenging transitions. My day-to-day work centers on ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive, dignified, and compassionate care at the end of life.

My path to social work began in healthcare, where I first worked as a nurse in the addictions field. Combined with my training and service as a U.S. Army Veteran and experience across a variety of clinical settings, these roles laid the foundation for my pursuit of advanced education and training in Clinical Social Work.

What I value most about hospice social work is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during a pivotal life moment. I am deeply committed to supporting patients and families emotionally and practically, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and fostering healing through connection, reflection, and presence. The work continually inspires personal and professional growth and reinforces the power of compassionate care.

My clinical expertise lies in mental health and bereavement support. By integrating therapeutic interventions with specialized grief counseling, I help individuals navigate loss, process complex emotions, and find pathways toward healing. I rely on a diverse set of clinical tools—including evidence-based therapeutic techniques, case management, collaboration, and intentional self-care—to provide ethical, client-centered care.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring unique restaurants and traveling to new places. I am also passionate about holistic approaches to wellness, including self-care practices, essential oils, and pet therapy, which influence my grounded, whole-person approach to both life and work.

Monica Ellis

Spiritual Counselor

A highly compassionate and experienced healthcare professional with over 30 years of service in healthcare and hospice, I am deeply committed to providing spiritual comfort and guidance to the sick and terminally ill. For the past year, I have served as a Spiritual Counselor with Hospice 365, drawing upon my theological studies at Grace School and extensive personal faith to bring peace and hope through God’s Word. My passion lies in supporting those in their most vulnerable moments, offering solace and strength during life’s challenging transitions.

My journey into spiritual counseling was profoundly shaped by personal experiences of loss, which instilled in me a deep desire to inspire others with spiritual knowledge and unwavering faith.

I believe that genuine pastoral care extends beyond the church walls, encompassing all facets of life. The Bible serves as my bedrock, providing a source of refuge and affirmation in the face of adversity.

Prior to my current role, my diverse healthcare experience includes positions as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medical Technologist. I am also a successful business owner. Throughout my career, serving the elderly has been my consistent and unwavering focus. My belief that “you get out of life what you give” guides my approach to both personal and professional endeavors.

Becoming a spiritual counselor represents a significant accomplishment, allowing me to combine my extensive healthcare expertise with my profound spiritual beliefs. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, and cherishing time with my husband (a Deacon of thirty years), daughter, and three grandchildren.

Jocelyn Harrison

CNA

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, my purpose is to provide every patient with dignity, comfort, and a sense of security. I believe that quality care begins with genuine compassion, respect, and treating each person as I would want my own loved ones to be treated.

I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and cared for. Whether assisting with personal care, mobility, or daily activities, I approach every task with patience, kindness, and respect for each individual’s comfort, privacy, and independence.

I take pride in being attentive to both the physical and emotional needs of those in my care. By listening closely, communicating openly with healthcare teams, and advocating for my patients’ well-being, I strive to provide comfort, reassurance, and peace of mind to both patients and their families.

Dovie Amburgey

CNA

For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant in hospice care, supporting patients and their families through some of life’s most meaningful and tender moments. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care that honors each person’s dignity, comfort, and individual wishes.

I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. Whether it’s offering a hand to hold, a listening ear, or simply being a comforting presence, my goal is to help patients feel valued, respected, and at peace. Supporting families during this journey is equally important to me, and I strive to provide reassurance, understanding, and care every step of the way.

It is an honor to walk alongside patients and their loved ones during this time, helping bring comfort, compassion, and dignity to every moment.

Valerie Nickens

CNA

I was born and raised in Louisiana, and my journey in healthcare started long before it became my profession. As a child, I spent summers with my mom at work, helping in small ways whenever I could—whether that meant washing a patient’s face or helping them put on their slippers. Those early experiences taught me the value of compassion, dignity, and caring for others.

I officially began working in this field in 1996, back when a license wasn’t required. Over the years, I’ve explored other career paths, from working as a cashier to building A/C compressors for Trane and Lennox. Yet no matter where life took me, I always found myself returning to healthcare.

Caring for people isn’t just what I do—it’s my calling. The opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life, even in the smallest ways, is what continues to inspire me every day.

Amy Robinson

RN

I graduated from Lone Star College in Montgomery, Texas, in 2011 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. I have been a nurse for 15 years, including 13 years of dedicated hospice experience, and currently serve as a Hospice Case Manager.

Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary technician for eight years, where I developed a strong foundation in compassionate, hands-on care. After nursing school, I spent two years caring for neurological, orthopedic, and trauma patients before transitioning into hospice care, where I found my true professional calling.

My passion for hospice nursing was inspired by witnessing the profound impact hospice care had on a close family friend. Since then, I have been committed to providing compassionate care, meaningful support, and open communication to every patient and family I serve. My work became especially personal when I cared for my mother throughout her cancer journey until her passing. That experience deepened my understanding of the importance of supporting patients and their loved ones with dignity, compassion, and respect during some of life’s most challenging moments.

I believe in living life fully until the very last breath and consider it a true privilege to walk alongside patients and families during their end-of-life journey. Being able to provide comfort, guidance, and compassionate care during such an intimate time is an honor that I do not take lightly.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing softball, fishing, laughing, and being outdoors—activities that help me stay grounded, balanced, and appreciative of life’s simple joys.

Susanna Mayer

RN

I am a hospice nurse with a heart for compassionate, individualized care. I graduated from Lone Star College–Kingwood with my Associate Degree in Nursing and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. My nursing journey has included pediatric and adult oncology, labor and delivery, and birth center care, all of which have deepened my appreciation for both the beginning of life and its sacred final chapter.

While caring for a hospice patient during a medical-surgical contract in Austin, I knew hospice was where I was meant to be. I have now been a hospice nurse for more than three years and feel confident that this is exactly where God has called me to serve.

I am grateful to be part of the Hospice 365 team, where we truly do things differently—providing exceptional care, going above and beyond to ensure comfort, and supporting patients and families with compassion, guidance, and understanding every step of the way.

Outside of nursing, I am a wife, a mother to two amazing children, and a dog mom to a rescue pup. I enjoy spending time with my family and church community, taking Pilates classes, and would happily spend every day at the zoo if I could.

Stephanie Buday

RN

For the past four years, I have dedicated my nursing career to hospice care, where I strive to bring compassion, comfort, and understanding to every patient and family I serve. Guided by a philosophy of patient-led care, I believe in honoring each family’s goals and wishes for their loved one, ensuring that dignity, respect, and comfort remain at the heart of every decision.

I consider hospice work my true calling and feel blessed to serve others each day. I often describe my role as “doing the Lord’s work,” and I am grateful for the opportunity to support patients and families through some of life’s most tender and meaningful moments. My goal is to be a steady, compassionate presence, offering reassurance, empathy, and care when it is needed most.

Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted single mother to two incredible daughters and a sweet dachshund pup. I enjoy cooking, sharing meals with friends, and building meaningful connections with the people around me. These moments help keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of community, compassion, and caring for one another.

Briana Roberts

RN

I have been blessed to serve as a Registered Nurse for more than 13 years, with experience in both neurology and hospice care. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of walking alongside patients and families during some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Providing compassionate care, offering comfort, and being a source of support are the parts of nursing that mean the most to me.

As a breast cancer survivor, I understand firsthand the fear, uncertainty, and challenges that can come with a serious illness. Through that journey, my faith in God became an even greater source of strength, hope, and healing. My experience has deepened my compassion and given me a unique perspective that allows me to connect with patients and families on a more personal level.

Beyond nursing, I am a proud mother, teacher, and children’s author. Whether I am caring for patients, teaching others, or sharing stories, my goal is always the same—to bring hope, encouragement, and kindness into the lives of those around me.

I am grateful for every opportunity to serve others and strive each day to make a meaningful difference through compassion, faith, and genuine care.

Safiyyah Dent

RN

With eight years of experience as a hospice nurse, I bring compassion, understanding, and a genuine heart for care to every patient and family I serve. I am known for my empathy and upbeat personality, and I find deep purpose in guiding others through some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Outside of hospice care, I also work as an aesthetic nurse injector and enjoy balancing my clinical expertise with creativity and connection. I am happily married to my best friend and the proud mom of four beautiful daughters. When I am not cheering them on at sporting events and concerts, I love traveling, trying new foods, and seeking out the best coffee shops wherever I go. I also enjoy spending time with my lively “zoo” of pets. My home is filled with love, laughter, and warmth—values that reflect the same care I strive to bring to my patients every day.

Teresa Adcock

LMSW

I am Teresa “Terrie” Adcock, LMSW, a dedicated social work professional with extensive experience serving individuals and families through compassionate care and advocacy. Born in San Antonio, Texas, I earned my graduate degree from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, where I developed the clinical knowledge and leadership skills that have guided my professional career.

Since 2016, I have specialized in hospice care, providing support to patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most challenging transitions. My work is grounded in empathy, dignity, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate complex emotional, social, and healthcare needs.

Prior to my hospice career, I managed a program through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs focused on assisting homeless veterans. In this role, I worked to connect veterans with essential resources, housing support, and services designed to improve their quality of life and promote long-term stability.

Outside of my professional responsibilities, I am passionate about genealogy. I enjoy researching family histories and preserving the stories and connections that help individuals better understand their heritage and personal identity.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to service, advocacy, and improving the lives of those I serve, reflecting the core values of the social work profession.
